QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  1. High school diploma or equivalency. 
  1. Ability to read basic operating instructions and write reports. 
  1. Demonstrates aptitude for successful completion of the task assigned. 
  1. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the board may find appropriate or acceptable.

 REPORTS TO:    Building Manager 

 

JOB GOAL:         To provide students with a safe, attractive, comfortable, clean, and efficient place in which to learn, play, and develop.

 

 

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  1. Participates in necessary (minor) general repairs with plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general mechanical areas.
  2. Replaces broken windows.
  3.  Assists general mechanics in remodeling and renovation work, upon request of maintenance staff.
  4.  Maintains the school grounds generally.
  5.  Assists in snow removal.
  6.  Participates in the general cleaning and maintenance of the school building.
  7.  Requisitions and receives supplies and equipment, and maintains necessary inventories.
  8.  Assumes responsibility for the general security of the building.
  9.  Assumes responsibility for the general fire safety of the building.
  10.  Performs other reasonable duties as are assigned by the Building Manager for the well being of the school district.

   

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:       Salary and benefits to be determined in accordance with the negotiated agreement between Crawford Central Board of School Directors and Crawford Central Educational Support Professional Association.

 

EVALUATION:  Performance will be evaluated annually in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on evaluation of non-professional personnel by the Building Manager.
