QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalency.
- Ability to read basic operating instructions and write reports.
- Demonstrates aptitude for successful completion of the task assigned.
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the board may find appropriate or acceptable.
REPORTS TO: Building Manager
JOB GOAL: To provide students with a safe, attractive, comfortable, clean, and efficient place in which to learn, play, and develop.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participates in necessary (minor) general repairs with plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general mechanical areas.
- Replaces broken windows.
- Assists general mechanics in remodeling and renovation work, upon request of maintenance staff.
- Maintains the school grounds generally.
- Assists in snow removal.
- Participates in the general cleaning and maintenance of the school building.
- Requisitions and receives supplies and equipment, and maintains necessary inventories.
- Assumes responsibility for the general security of the building.
- Assumes responsibility for the general fire safety of the building.
- Performs other reasonable duties as are assigned by the Building Manager for the well being of the school district.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Salary and benefits to be determined in accordance with the negotiated agreement between Crawford Central Board of School Directors and Crawford Central Educational Support Professional Association.
EVALUATION: Performance will be evaluated annually in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on evaluation of non-professional personnel by the Building Manager.
